It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denise Lee VanGilder of Buckhannon, West Virginia, born in Weirton, West Virginia, who passed away on April 20, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Leasure and Patricia Trotter Leasure; and her brother-in-law James "Jimmy" Hilderbrand. She is survived by: her husband Larry VanGilder of French Creek, WV; her children, Brittany Exline (Danny) of Buckhannon and Shaun Peggs (Brian Novak) of Mount Morris, PA; her grandchildren, Garett Exline of Buckhannon and Lindsey Exline of Buckhannon; her sister Tasha Hilderbrand of Mingo Junction, OH; and her nephews, Michael of Mingo Junction and Braeden Hilderbrand of Mingo Junction.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with the funeral expenses.
