She was predeceased by: her parents, Kessler Carpenter and Annie Carpenter; her husband Bill Riffle; her siblings, Denley, Benford, Olen Carpenter, Regina and Terry Carpenter; and her sisters-in-law, Shelbia Jean Carpenter, Jean Carpenter and Wanda Carpenter.
She is survived by: her siblings, Sharon Carpenter of Buckhannon, Grace Dennison of Hemlock, Elizabeth Mucciarone of Texas, Dorsey Carpenter of Tallmansville, Larry Carpenter (Christine) of Tallmansville, Trevor Carpenter (Brenda) of Queens, WV and Eddie Carpenter (Betty) of Buckhannon.
