He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Payne "Newt" Martin and Martha Ellen Hovatter Martin. He is survived by: his wife Misty L. Knight Martin; his son Joshua Martin (Erica) of Rock Cave; his stepsons, Cody Cain (Allesondria) of Jane Lew, Gage Cain of Colorado, Zachery Bender of Rock Cave and David; his grandchildren, Gage Cobb, Jaylynn, Jazzlynn Friend, Payden, Maddie Martin and Eleanor Martin; his stepgrandchildren, Mya and Sylas Cain; and his sister Sandra K. (Tim Fultz) of French Creek. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel (940 WV-20, Buckhannon, WV 26201). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
