She was predeceased by: her parents, Oral F. Simmons and Gilsie Lura Russell Simmons; her husband Amos Barton Peck; and her siblings, Anna Belle Lane, Wilma Jean Woody, George and Donald Simmons.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Peck of Webster Springs, Velda (Randal Booth) of Pickens, Veronica Anderson of Rock Cave and Velenda (Phillip Holcomb) of Buckhannon; her grandchildren, Brandon, Dylan, Kaleb, Abigail, Jada and Vanessa; her great grandchild Emerie Kay; and her sisters, Patricia (Doyle Gillum) of French Creek and Mary Ann (Larry Coe) of Buckhannon.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel (940 WV-20, Buckhannon, WV 26201). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
