It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte W. Hawkins (Buckhannon, West Virginia), who passed away on July 9, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Garland and Virginia Ruth Fox Eskew; her husband Denver Arland Hawkins, Sr.; and her sisters, Lola K. Eskew, Virginia Lorraine Eskew, Iona Kovar and Loretta Kovar.
She is survived by: her children, Denver Arland Hawkins, Jr. of French Creek and Rhonda Hawkins; her close friend Ed Sundling; her grandchildren, Christopher Hawkins (Ashley) of Charleston, WV, Nicholas Hawkins (Tori) of Charleston, Taelor Sunding (Matt) of Charleston, Daniel Hawkins of Charleston and Dillon Hawkins (Jamie) of Tulsa, OK; her great grandchildren, Ramie, Hart and Rayne Hawkins; and her brothers, Judd Eskew (Kathy) of French Creek, Howard Eskew of Clarksburg and Earl Eskew of Clarksburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
