With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Joyce Shreve of Buckhannon, West Virginia, born in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2024 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman G. Hawkins and Florence Heater Hawkins; her husband Eddie Shreve; and her brother Glenn Hawkins. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl McCord (Roger) of Philippi, WV, Debbie South (Mike) of Plattsmouth, NE, Terri Woods (Doug) of Buckhannon, Robert "Bubba" Shreve (Melanie) of Buckhannon and Chris Shreve (Shalom) of Bellingham, WA; her grandchildren, Josh McCord (Sally) of Omaha, NE, Tyler, Coleman Shreve of Buckhannon, Enoch, Scarlet Shreve of Bellingham, Clara, Jennifer Woods of Buckhannon, Erica Emington (Dave) of Centreville, VA, Matthew South of Plattsmouth and Michaela Broderick (Chris) of New Zealand; her great grandchildren, Bella, Brennan Emington of Centreville, Birdie and Everett McCord of Omaha; her sisters, Geraldine "Jerrie" Belt of Amherst, OH, Frances Lockhart of Woodlands, TX, Kathy Abel of Delaware, OH and Jeane Nichols of Jacksonville, NC; and her sisters-in-law, JoAnn Hawkins, Jodie Moran and Patty Bennett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
