With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl Wilson Bennett (Buckhannon, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence M Bennett and Nellie G Bennett; his grandson Justin Smith; his siblings, Ernest M Bennett and Patty L Bennett; and his half-brothers, Robert "Bob" Bennett, Clarence "Junior" Bennett and Francis "Junior" Washburn.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Russell, Tina Bennett and Jeffrey Bennett; his granddaughter Jessica Phipps; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Tucker Phipps and Conner Smith; and his siblings, James Bennett, Bradford Bennett, Raymond Bennett (Connie) and Opal Gillespie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the South Buckhannon Mission Church (152 Randolph St, Buckhannon, WV 26201). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
