He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Wires Dawson and Emma Florence Tenney Dawson; and his daughter Marcella Susan Roth (Neil) of Buckhannon. He is survived by: his wife Hilda Hardman Dawson; and his sons, Steven Ray Dawson (Angie) of Moorefield and Bruce Lee Dawson (Kathy) of Buckhannon. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
