He was predeceased by: his son Shane Pritt; and his siblings, Johnny Pritt and Aileen Cohenour. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Sharp Pritt; his children, Ashley Pritt of Marlinton, Lora Smith (Greg) of Ravenswood, Katrina Pritt of Buckeye, Angel Armstrong (Tiger) of Warren and Johnny Pritt (Cynthia) of Minnehaha Springs; and his siblings, Don Sharp and Alice Dunz of Marlinton. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
