She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey K. Bright and Lena Virgie Sharp Bright; her husband Norman Page Friel; and her siblings, Lucille Simmons, Levva McMillion, Luther Bright, Nellie Dean, Ted Bright, Mary Rose, Jean Whitmire and Betty Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Doyle (Gary) of Slaty Fork, Delores Buzzard (Clark) of Frost, Judy McCord (late Dan) of Stephens City, VA and Eddie Friel of Buckeye; and her brother Robert Bright of Mingo. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
