He is survived by: his children, Melissa Hill of Slaty Fork and Richard Allen Hill, Jr. of Maurertown, VA; his grandchildren, Seth Doss, Kyler Doss, Chance Hill and Joseph Hill; and his siblings, Plumia Hause (Kyle) of Buckeye, Elsie Layman (Paul) of Amelia, VA and Harold Hill (Catherine) of Renick.
