It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Pauline Mae Burks (Buckeye, West Virginia), born in Huttonsville, West Virginia, who passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Wamsley and Daisey Barkley Wamsley; her son William Michael Burks; and her siblings, Carrie Arbogast, Marie Moss, Lorraine Burks, Virginia Arnett, Frank and John Wamsley.

She is survived by: her husband Homer Jack Burks; her children, Kathleen Elaine Wright (David) of Colorado Springs, Jackie Lynn Burks of Alexandria, VA, David Paul Burks of Buckeye, Daniel Keith Burks (Gertrude) of Buckeye and James Ray Burks (Tony) of Ravenswood; and her brother Bayard Wamsley of Mill Creek. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
