It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Ann Shearer of Buckeye, West Virginia, born in Elkview, West Virginia, who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Otis and Geneva Pearl Myers; her husband James Shearer; her children, Steven Shearer and Tina Shearer; and her siblings, Betty Anne Nobles, Shirley Anne Miller, Ora Boggs of Jack Myers, JR., Raymond Eugene Myers, Olin Thomas Myers of Virgil Myers, JR. and Bobby Eugene Myers.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jasmine Shearer of Durbin, Ashley Shearer of Marlinton and Sheena Scott of Hillsboro; her siblings, Wanda Mae Keeten of Walton, WV, Marthat Louise Seabolt of Clendenin and Larry Myers of Charleston; and her sister-in-law Beverly Myers of Clendenin. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
