She was predeceased by: her parents, Luke Charles and Violet Mary Robinson Root; her husband James S. Durr; her son James S. Durr II; her grandparents, Noah, Bedie Nestor Robinson, William and R. Shahan Root; and her aunts and uncles, Elsie Robinson Felton, Chloe Goff, Hazel Calvert, Grace Robinson, Roy B. Goff, Patrick H. Felton, Charles W. Calvert and Woodward Douglas Robinson.
She is survived by: her daughter Michelle (Jeffrey Whitehead) of Keyser, WV; her grandson Andrew William Edward Whitehead; her brother James L. (Agnes Barlow Root); and her nephews, James L. Root, Jr. and Jarion Lee Root. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
