He was predeceased by: his parents, Daisy Elizabeth Flood Martin and Oscar Paul Martin; his son Robert Stephen Martin, Jr.; his siblings, Vonda Virginia Martin Lewis, Roy Darrell Martin, Homer Paul Martin and Carl Wade Martin; his nephew Lonzo Duane Martin; and his niece Linda Lou Martin Cooper.
He is survived by: his significant other Peggy Crane; his daughter Brenda Merchant; his daughter-in-law Carolyn Martin; his grandchildren, Jason Martin (Darbi), Adam, Matthew and Abby Merchant; and his great grandchildren, Connor, Cambelle, Andie, Peyton and Irelyn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
