He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Turner and Florence Turner (Cunningham); his sister Dove Phillips; and his children, Peter Y. Turner II and Terry Ann Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Turner; his daughter Tracy Westerman (Charles); and his stepchildren, Christopher L. Pigott and Rita L. Church of Morgantown. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
