He was predeceased by: his parents, Zola Teter and Ella Long Teter; his son Jerry Reynolds Teter, Jr.; and his siblings, Bruce, Kenneth, Donnie, Hansel and Velma Crites.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia G. Cooper Teter; his sisters-in-law, Alice Vandevender (Roger) of Kerens and Norma Jean Teter; and his siblings, Ward Teter of Seneca Rocks and Louann Smith of Edgewater. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
