He was predeceased by: his grandfather Junior Grant Metheny; his great-grandparent Ruby Michael; and his son Collin. He is survived by: his parents, Glen Metheny and Robin Wotring Metheny of Bruceton Mills; his brothers, Brian Metheny of Washington, PA and Christopher Metheny (Laura) of Bruceton Mills; his daughters, Taylor, Laura Leann and Cydney; his nieces and nephews, Austin, Chance, Shane, Landin, Tristen, Ava and Finley; and his grandparents, Dale, Joann Wotring and Eloine Metheny of Bruceton Mills. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles.
Due to the increased prevalence of the COVID virus, a public funeral and burial will be held at the Blooming Rose Cemetery in Friendsville, MD, Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at 2:30 p. m., with Pastor Steve Wotring officiating. Those in attendance are requested to wear masks and to practice social distancing.
