He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rufus Shaffer and Jessie Shaffer; his brother Sam; his wife Mary; his daughters, Rose (Fred), Brenda (Stew), Linda (Andy) and Trudy (John); and his grandchildren, Ben, Margaret, Jon, Emily, Rachel, Becca, Stephanie, Olivia, Tabitha, Luke, Noah and John. He was also cherished by extended family which included so many relatives and friends.
