It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Mae Darnell (Bruceton Mills, West Virginia), born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 26, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ewing O'Brian and Florence Dills O'Brian; her son Scott Cobb; and her stepchildren, Donald "Duck" Darnell and Sherry Stanley.
She is survived by: her husband Donald L. Darnell; her children, Deborah (Larry Baber) of Hazelton, WV, Dale (Belinda Cobb) and Dean (Dedra Cobb); and her stepdaughter Brenda Newman (Tom) of Pt. She is also survived by four sisters; a brother; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
