He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Stemple and Dora Stemple; and his siblings, Charles, Melvin Stemple, Mildred Kovalch, Madeline Wotring and Margaret Case.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Knotts Stemple; his children, Scott Stemple (Geri) of Bruceton Mills, WV., Jeff Stemple (Beverly) of Bruceton Mills, WV., Sharon Harsh (Dennis) of Bruceton Mills, WV., Roger Stemple (Leah) of Bruceton Mills, WV. and Beth Bishop (Jason) of Bruceton Mills, WV.; his grandchildren, Andrea Lemley (Erick), Aaron Stemple (Kelsey), Meredith Harteis (Jerrod), Cody Harsh (Chelsea Hoover), Daniel Harsh (Abigail Shillingburg), Lucas Stemple (Katelyn), Morgan Stemple (Brandon Osborne), Kyler Bishop and Cassie Bishop; and his pet Brody. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will not be a service at this time.
