It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Feather of Bruceton Mills, West Virginia, born in Hazelton, West Virginia, who passed away on September 28, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sanford Ray and Rachel Marie Reckart DeBerry; her spouses, Cecil Ray Feather, Sr. and Dailey Ware Rexroad; her daughter Mildred; her great grandchild Hunter; her sister Lucille; her siblings-in-law, Carlos Dennis, Peachie DeBerry and Barbara Feather; her sons-in-law, Butch Kidwell, David W. McCarty and Nolan Fitchett; and her pet Mingo.
She is survived by: her children, Yvette Evangelist (Daniel), Yvonne Rodeheaver (Cecil), Ray Feather (Joan), Lester Feather (Angie) of Hazelton, WV, Jeanett (Richard Garrison) and Helen Feather (Jack Pifer) of Phillipi, WV; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Dailey McCarty, Daniel, Samuel Kidwell, Tamara, Shawn, Timothy Rodeheaver, Richard, Philip, Matthew Feather, Justin, Anthony Feather, Charles, Jessica Shrout and Takoda Wilcher; and her siblings, Stanley DeBerry, Opal, Lynn Miller of Hazelton, WV and Chester. She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID 19 concerns, the family will have a graveside service at the Centenary Cemetery on Friday, October 1, 2021, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tim Wotring officiating.
