He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias R. Simon and Nellie Ann Wakem Simon; his wife Geraldine Louise "Gerry" Flannery Simon; his sons, David Andrew Simon and Tommy Simon; and his siblings, Catherine Courey, Simon, George, Wakem and Abe Simon.
He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Simon (Tracie) of Clarksburg and Robert Simon of Dunmore, WV; his grandchildren, Andrew Thomas Simon, Stephen Noah Simon and Christian William Simon; and his sister Jean Dupont. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home (201 Edison St, Nutter Fort, WV 26301). A prayer was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the All Saints Catholic Church (317 E Main St, Bridgeport, WV 26330). A burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024.
