Thomas Joseph Ashby Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2022, at the age of 89, Thomas Joseph Ashby (Bridgeport, West Virginia), born in Ellenboro, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Ashby and Jessie Idleman Ashby; his wife Loretta Sayres Ashby; and his siblings, Reverend Hugh Ashby, William Ashby, Madalyne Taylor Dunbar and Sue Simmons.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Howard (Lester) of Bridgeport, WV and Pam Burkhart (Bill) of Prior Lake, MN; his granddaughter Natalie Duellman (Jon) of Burnsville, MN; his great grandchild Jackson Richard Duellman; and his close friend Louise Batman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Tom's memory to Bridgeport United Methodist Church Permanent Fund, 251 Worthington Drive, Bridgeport, WV.
