It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra Kay McCloy of Bridgeport, West Virginia, born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, who passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Freda McCloy and Ralph McCloy of Rosemont; her siblings, Ralph McCloy, Jr. of Grafton, Sammie McCloy of Flemington, Agnes Virginia Hill (John Hill) of Rosemont and Mary Ann Moore of Flemington; and her brother-in-law Robert Whipkey of Clarksburg.
She is survived by: her sisters, Norma Jean Whipkey of Clarksburg and Linda Lou Haynes (Stephen) of Bridgeport; her siblings-in-law, Patricia McCloy of Flemington, Joan McCloy of Grafton and Thomas Moore of Flemington; her niece Nevaeh Christian Haynes; and her nephew Matthew Paul Haynes. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Her life was shortened due to COVID which she contracted in November 2021, and suffered and passed from long-term COVID complications.
