He was predeceased by: his parents, Evan Hanby and Margaret Hanby; his wife Veronica of Newark, DE; his son Gary William Hanby; and his brothers, Joseph L., Thomas, Clifford and Kenneth Hanby.
He is survived by: his children, Hon, Deborah H. Boulden of Myrtle Beach, SC and Darlene H. Copeland (Steve) of Colorado. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and a sister.
