He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Kopp and Elizabeth Olean Kopp (Mary Kopp) of Clarksburg; and his son Joseph Richard Kopp (Ann Britton). He is survived by: his wife Mary Diekmann of Weston; his sons, Paul Kopp of Clarksburg, Ronald Kopp (Pam Kopp) of Fleming Island, FL and Thomas Kopp (Cindy Kopp) of Bridgeport; his grandchildren, Kendra Kopp (Branden Vittitoe) of Jacksonville, FL, Kayla Kopp of Jacksonville, FL, Danielle Paulk (Tony Paulk) of Morgantown and Thomas J. Kopp (Katherine Kopp) of Morgantown; and his great grandchildren, Bradley, Wesley, Layla Paulk of Morgantown and Aubrie Kopp of Morgantown. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Thursday, May 28, 2020, from 5 – 8 p. m. Due to Covid-19, the family requests that if you attend the visitation to please wear a mask for everyone's safety. Catholic Burial Rites will be held privately for the family on Friday, May 29, 2020, and entombment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
