We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2023, at the age of 82, Roger Dwight Stoops of Bridgeport, West Virginia, born in Spencer, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lena Moore (Brabham) and Ernest Moore; his former wives, Carol and Susan; his brother Ernest Moore; and his daughter Jill Stoops.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy M. Stoops; his children, Bryan Stoops (Connie), Annette Stoops of Parkersburg and Amy Stoops Badgett of Parkersburg; and his stepchildren, Brian Badgett of Louisville, KY, James Badgett of Louisville, KY, Terrie Swathwood (Mark) of Smithburg, Beth Ensor (Mark) of West Minister, MD, Joy Hale (Jim) of Baltimore, MD and Barbara Thomson (Thomas) of Pennsboro. He is also survived by 39 grandchildren; and 41 great-grandchildren.
