He was predeceased by: his parent Dennis McCloy; his wife Ercie Shahan Thompson McCloy; his stepchildren, Floyd Thompson, Linda Rutherford and Carrie Bray; and his grandchildren, Darrel Bray, Jr. and Timothy Thompson.
He is survived by: his parent Bessie McCloy (Wilson); his stepchildren, James Thompson (Ruth Ellen) of Rosemont, John Thompson (Ronda) of Rosemont, Barry Thompson (Connie) of Mt, Saundra Bray (Charles) of Flemington, Martha Thompson of Grafton and John Rutherford of Grafton; and his grandchildren, Katie Thompson, Chad Thompson and Jeremy Thompson. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
