He is survived by: his wife Frances Torch Thobois; his children, Jeannine Leggett (Keith) of Fairmont, Lisa Ammons of Cumming and Paul Thobois (Suzanne) of Morgantown; his grandchildren, Melissa (Jason Lake) of Salem and John (Amanda Bland) of Stockbridge; his great grandchildren, Ethan and Aiden Lake; his brother Paul; and his sister-in-law Josephine Moore of Charlotte.
