He was predeceased by: his parents, William P. Coughlin and Dorothy Coughlin (Allen); his siblings, John Coughlin and Harriette Hatfield; his sister-in-law Janet Coughlin; and his grandmother Harriette Allen.
He is survived by: his sons, Sean Christian Coughlin (Adrea) of Florida and Steven Coughlin of North Dakota; his grandchildren, Carson Coughlin of Hawaii and Sera Sophia Coughlin of Florida; his brothers, Paul Coughlin of Ohio and Michael Coughlin (Kay) of Texas; and his brother-in-law Harvey Hatfield of St. Mary's. He is also survived by many nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins complete his family.
