She was predeceased by: her parent Arden S. Winter; and her husband James Randolph Thornton. She is survived by: her parent Lena Lancaster Winter; her son Samuel R. Thornton (Rebecca) of Bridgeport, WV; her grandsons, Randy Thornton and Vana Sendling of Bridgeport, WV; her daughter Jazzlyn; and her granddaughter Leora.
