She was predeceased by: her parents, Marlo Root and Bertha Root (Hileman); her husband Ronnie Glenn Edwards; her great grandchildren, Tristen Nathaniel Jackson and Wyatt Riley; and her siblings, Arnett Junior, John, Porter, Sammy, Orphie, Patty McDonald, Linda Faulkner, Mary Root and Hazel Cook.
She is survived by: her children, Belinda Jackson (Rusty), Glenn Edwards, Brushy Fork, Debbie Edwards, Terry Edwards (Sue), Franklin, Dwayne Edwards (Melissa), Robert Edwards (Sheila) and Connie Christian (Tim); and her siblings, Russell Root, Minnie Nicholson of Bridgeport and Grace Henderson of Bridgeport. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren.
