He was predeceased by: his parent Kenneth J. Walter, Sr.; and his brother Howard Walter. He is survived by: his parent Grace Olive Laney; his wife Carole Walter (Boyers); and his children, Marty J. Walter (Sharon) of Crosby, TX, Mitchell J. Walter (Margaret) of Morgantown, Melanie Smith (David) of Parkersburg and Michelle Shock (Richard) of Woodbridge, VA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
