He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Sandy and Elsie Lida Jenkins Sandy; his grandchildren, Shane Davis and Lyda Sandy; his great grandchild Ember Sands; and his siblings, George Sandy, Robert Paul Sandy, Arthur Walter Sandy, Harry Sandy, Charles Sandy, Sarah Hyde, Jacklene Goff and Mary Lodge.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Rose Wright Sandy; his children, Roberta Baker (Richard) of Parkersburg, Laura Davis of Bridgeport, Kenneth Sandy Jr. (Vicky) of Flemington, Daisy White (Robert) of Rosemont, Jason Sandy (Amanda) of Bridgeport and Justin Sandy (Jessica) of Salem; his grandchildren, Tonya Ross, Tommy Baker (Jenny), Crystal Murphy, Amber Sandy (Shane Felton), Suzanna Parsons (Michael), Robert White, Elsie White, Alex White (McKenna), Isabella Davis, Lyza Montgomery (Billy), Justin "Buddy" Sandy Jr. (Breanna), Savannah Sandy, Molly, Dolly Sandy, Holly Sandy and Andy Sandy; and his brother Floyd "Tom" Sandy of Cairo. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
