He was predeceased by: his parent Clyde Bennington. He is survived by: his parent Madaline Warner Bennington; his wife Carol Francis Bennington; his children, Kevin Bennington (Heidi) of Bridgeport and Lisa Leggett of Parkersburg; and his grandchildren, Owen Bennington, Zack Tanner, Marci Poe and Maddi Leggett.
