With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia B. Brown Malone of Bridgeport, West Virginia, born in Grafton, West Virginia, who passed away on October 15, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston C. Brown and Mary Spatafore Brown; her spouse Dean Malone; her children, Patrick Malone and Julia Ann Ensley; and her siblings, Joseph Preston Brown, Clarabell Putzu and Rosemary Panther.

She is survived by: her son Dean Malone (Connie) of Bridgeport. She is also survived by two grandsons; one granddaughter; one great-grandson; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins that complete her family.

In lieu of flowers Mrs. Malone's family request donations be made in her memory to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 150 South Maple Avenue, Clarksburg, WV, 26301.

“Dean, Connie & Joey, I am so very saddened by Julia's passing! I just found out this evening and I am in a state of disbelief. I could never adequately express my appreciation for all that she did for my Mom. She was a loyal friend to Mom, particularly after Dad went into the nursing home. It was a comfort to me to know that she talked with or saw Mom nearly every day. We both loved her sense of humor. I wish I had remained in closer contact with her. My thoughts and prayers are with you!”
