She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Haas and Pearl Haas (Musselman); and her husband Gordon Jean Johnson. She is survived by : her children, SallyAnn Flesher of Bridgeport and Eric David Kline of Bethlehem, PA; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Ashley Hastings (Brandon Nicholson) of Clarksburg, WV and Joshua Patrick Hastings (Madeline Clark) of Huntington, WV; and her great grandchild Colton James Nicholson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bridgeport United Methodist Church (251 Worthington Dr, Bridgeport, WV 26330). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joyce's memory to the Bridgeport United Methodist Church Permanent Fund, 251 Worthington Dr, Bridgeport, WV 26330, or to the WVU Medicine Hospice, 2673 Davisson Run Road, Clarksburg, WV 26301.
