He was predeceased by: his parents, Simpson W. Jones and Dorothy Sedon (Parks); his stepfather Charles Sedon; his wife Barbara Jean Bell Jones; and his son James Gregory Jones.

He is survived by: his grandson Anthony James Jones (Clarissa) of Bridgeport. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
