She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Pickens and Eva Pearl Pickens (Warner); and her husband Thomas D. Belasco. She is survived by: her children, Thomas David Belasco, II (Elisa) of Bridgeport and Stephanie Ann Maley (Richard) of Shinnston; her grandchildren, Travis D., Tyler D. Belasco, Justin D. Molina and Kelsey J. Maley; her great grandchildren, Noah and Charlee; and her cousins, Sharon, Phyllis Kay and Dollena. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burnside Funeral Home (607 S Virginia Ave, Bridgeport, WV 26330). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Joanne's memory be made to Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
