She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Elsey Sr. and Pauline'May'Elsey; her husband James Patrick O'Mara; her son-in-law James Matthew Ash; her sister Kathy Jacobs; her sisters-in-law, Jan O'Mara and Sister Mary Joan Scheller; and her nephews, Alex Givens and Josh Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Ash of Bridgeport, Mary Powers (Jerry) of Bridgeport, Patrick O'Mara (Sherry) of Clarksburg and Jennifer O'Mara (Kevin Curry) of Bridgeport; her grandchildren, RJ Powers (Katie Stoner) of Morgantown, Ryan Powers (Sarah) of Bridgeport, Logan Ash of Bridgeport, Luke Ash of Bridgeport, Trey O'Mara (Adriane) of Clarksburg, Jenna Schwartzmiller (Jay) of Morgantown, Katie Brown (Fraser) of North Carolina, Owen O'Mara of Clarksburg, Zachary Renquest of Bridgeport and Hunter Renquest (Rebecca) of Pittsburgh; her great grandchildren, Adalyn, Harper and Finley Powers; her siblings, John F. Elsey Jr., Jeannie Steadham, Flordia and Susie Johnson (Doug) of Indianapolis; and her siblings-in-law, Mike O'Mara of Indianapolis, Tim O'Mara (Kris) of North Carolina, Kathy Vondersaar (Rob) of Indianapolis and Therese O'Mara (Steve) of Indianapolis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home (201 Edison St, Nutter Fort, WV 26301). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM and at 3:00 PM.
