He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Edward and Edna Mae Thompson Tonkery; his daughter Tammy Ann Tonkery; and his siblings, Charles Tonkery, Junior Tonkery and Wilma Williams.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Sandra Stackhouse; his daughters, Teresa Tonkery and April Burke (John); his granddaughter Kylie Burke; his brother Donald Tonkery (Paula); and his sister-in-law Kay Tonkery. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harmer Funeral Home (300 Pike St, Shinnston, WV 26431). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
