It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon E. Snopps of Bridgeport, West Virginia, born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, who passed away on January 6, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rupert B. Snopps and Jo Ann Tanner Snopps; and his brother Warren Snopps. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Jo Williams Snopps; his daughter Melanie N. Simon (Herb) of Nutter Fort; his granddaughters, Reese M. Simon and Cierra Rainone (Derek); his brother Donald B. Snopps (Alice) of Meadowbrook; his nephews, Donald B. Snopps II and Chad Messenger; his sisters-in-law, Robin Messenger and Kelly McDonough; and his great-nephews, Dylan, Evan and Kyle.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Gene's memory to the Humane Society of Harrison County, 2450 Saltwell Rd, Shinnston, WV 26431.
