She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Caruso and Catherine Mazzo Caruso; and her sister Angela Columbo. She is survived by: her husband Michael L. Shaffer; her daughter Stephanie A. Earley (Joe) of Bridgeport, WV; her grandchildren, Amanda R. Cunningham (Evan) and Tyler M. Marks (Carrington); her great grandchildren, Owen, Aurora and Wyatt Cunningham; and her brothers, Michael A. Caruso (Louise) of Morgantown and Joseph A. Caruso (Carla) of Clarksburg.
