She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sturm and Hazel Sturm Hotsinpiller; and her siblings, Jimmy Sturm, Leonard Sturm and Avanell "Abby" Yheaulon.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Edward Hatfield; her daughter Stephanie McCollam (David); her grandchildren, Noah, Gwen and Nora McCollam of Titusville, Florida; her stepson Colonel Bryan Carl Hatfield (Robin); her grandchildren, Amelie and Marit Hatfield of Herndon, Virginia.; her sister Sharon "Gig" Golden of Philippi; her foster daughter Ramona Mercantino of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania; her aunt Edna; and her uncle Bretzel Allen of Bridgeport. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
