He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Ash and Marjorie Hall Ash; his brother John H. Ash II; his stepbrother David Moore; his stepmother Emilia Ash; and his former wife Debra Kichak Ash.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Clayton Ash; his son David Alan Ash (Jillian); his granddaughter Marilyn Elizabeth Ash; his brother James M. Ash; his stepsister Diane Riffee (David); his brother-in-law Mark Clayton (Beth); and his pet Bella. He is also survived by nephew and several nieces.
