He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Whiteman and Blanche Davis Whiteman; his wife Betty Jean Whiteman (Carpenter McIntyre); his sister Mary Whiteman; and his son-in-law Randall Moore.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Grimes (Patrick) of Nutter Fort and Pamela Moore of Marshville; his grandsons, Klay Moore and Nathaniel Grimes; and his sister Dianna Hayes.
