He was predeceased by: his parents, Tip Bush and Mima Bush (Heckert); his wife Mary Wilda Bush (Somerville); and his siblings, Mary Lyle Gnegy, Helen Blackshire, Bess Wright, Isabell McLain, Betty Lee Feldman, Joan Shedden, Leo Bush and Lynwood Bush.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Bush (Norenne), Ronnie Bush (Beverly), Richard Bush (Robin), Jeff "JT" Bush (Joi) and Sharlene Muscar (Fred); his grandchildren, Shelley DeBerry (Ryan), Angelina Brewer (Shawn), Mario Muscar (Jennifer), Tip Bush, Megan Luchuck (John), Paige, Sarah, Jordyn, Jake and Jaci Bush; his great grandchildren, Lindsey, Madison DeBerry, Sebastian Brewer, Flannery and Nico Muscar; and his sister Delores "Boots" Tomaino of Midland, NC.
