It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlos Barrett Cepeda (Bridgeport, West Virginia), who passed away on April 11, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jorge F. Barrett and Rosaura Cepeda of Barrett; his wife Evelyn Polk Gowdy; and his siblings, Jorge F. Barrett Cepeda, Abel E. Barrett Cepeda, Roble Barrett Munoz and Elizabeth Barrett.
He is survived by: his children, Carlos A. Barrett (Peggy Lynn) of Benbrook, Texas, Mary Polk "Polly" Barrett Clutter (Donald Clutter) of Bridgeport, Michael E. Barrett of Saylorsburg, Leslie "Lolly" Barrett of Vinton and Robert A. Barrett of Bridgeport; and his sisters, Maria Enriqueta Barrett Calleja and Rosa Maria Barrett Coleman of Texas. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
