He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bunie G. Harper and Irene Yancey Harper; his wife Evelyn Anne Brown Harper; his son John Edward Harper of Pittsburgh, PA; and his siblings, Jason Drew Harper (Ilene) of Charleston and Leslie Harper Phillips of Leewood. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends.
